Deleting data
How to delete a project, an organization or your account from the dashboard, and what is deleted and what is kept. None of these can be undone.
You can delete a project, an organization or your account from the dashboard. Because none of these can be undone, you type the name (for your account, your email address) on the confirmation screen before deleting. The person who deletes it gets an email.
Agents, tenants, recordings and API keys can still be deleted one at a time from the dashboard and the API (see the API reference). Projects, organizations and accounts can only be deleted from the dashboard, to avoid mistakes (not through the API or MCP).
Projects#
In the organization switcher, choose Delete project and type the project name. Admins and owners can delete projects. You can also delete an organization’s last project and create a new one later from the same menu.
Everything below is deleted from both the live and test environments.
| Deleted | Details |
|---|---|
| Agents | All versions and the API keys of their tools |
| Tenants | Connection secrets (they can no longer connect) |
| Conversation records | Collected fields, summaries, transcripts, recordings, tool calls and webhook delivery records |
| Connections | Saved credentials (OAuth tokens and API keys) |
| API keys | Stop working immediately (401) |
| Webhook endpoints | Registered URLs and signing secrets |
API keys, tenant connection secrets and webhook endpoints stop working as soon as you delete the project, and webhooks not yet sent are not sent. Transcripts and recordings are removed within a few minutes.
If the webhook endpoints can’t be deleted, nothing else is deleted either and you see “Could not delete the webhook endpoints.” Wait a moment and delete again.
Organizations#
In organization settings, open the Organization tab, click Delete organization and type the organization name. Only owners can delete an organization.
- All projects (everything in the table above), memberships and invitations are deleted. Members’ accounts are kept.
- Auto-recharge stops and the saved card is removed. Any open top-up checkout page stops working.
- The remaining balance is not refunded (see the Terms of Service). The confirmation screen shows the balance that will not be refunded.
- If you need past invoices or receipts, save them from Billing before you delete.
- Records we must keep by law for billing and accounting (top-up and usage records, and invoices at the payment provider) are kept for the required period.
Your account#
In account settings, click Delete account and type your email address. Only you can delete your account.
- Your password, passkeys, sign-in sessions (on every device), organization memberships, invitations you sent and access for connected apps (MCP) are deleted. If you signed in with Google or GitHub, that link is removed too.
- Organizations and their data are not deleted.
- You can’t delete your account while you’re the only owner of an organization. Make another member an owner, or delete the organization first.
- If you sign up again with the same email address, you’ll get a new account.
